Clicking on 'View All' link shows nothing

Q: Clicking on the 'View All' link shows nothing instead of displaying everything.

A: Most likely too many images (items) are being loaded on one page and causing a server issue.

How many items will show when you click on 'View All'? It is the number of pages times the number of items on a page. The number of items on a page is found in Administration > Catalog Setup > Items per page: The number of pages is found in Pages: 1 to N where N is the number of pages (for example, Pages: 1 to 33).

 See what your setting is under Administration > Catalog Setup > View All Links: Most likely, it is set to 'Always show'.

You can do this currently:

It is set to 'Always show'. I suggest setting it to 'Only Categories with less than 6 pages'. This will show 18 (if you have Items per page set to 18) x 5 or 90 images on a category with 5 pages. Even 90 images can take a bit of time to load.

OR

you can set it to 'Never show'

The first suggestion will give a good customer experience without overtaxing the system. Try different settings to see what is acceptable.
